About Me

Lana Elizabeth Bateman

I am an artist, writer and graphic designer based in Ottawa, Ontario. My professional background is in graphic design, where I’ve worked with companies ranging from tech, veterinary clinics, packaging for food and toy companies and branding for a wide variety of different industries. I also frequently get involved in independent film, where I get to feed a love of acting, writing and FX makeup. My favourite film genres to work on are horror and comedy.

In 2022 I was able to integrate these two passions into a single profession – film production graphic design. I love to create visuals that tell stories, that set a mood, and that advance the vision of the director and production designer. To date I have worked with companies such as Paramount, Netflix and SYFY channel.
